Connecting to Careers through Cause Connector

Hunter Warsinsky, Placement Coordinator

Help us spread the word that BB2C is featured on the new Appalachian Ohio giving site, Cause Connector!

We’re excited to be one of the first organizations featured on this new platform, designed to connect those who want to give with projects that can make a real difference in their communities. Gifts of all sizes can combine to help make our project possible.  BB2C is supporting the Frontier Local Schools Internet Connectivity Program through Cause Connector.

Many students in Appalachian Ohio face barriers to connectivity and internet access. For students from Frontier Local Schools, this lack of internet prevents many from accessing the support and programming of BB2C (Building Bridges to Careers), which provides virtual career training. Funding would allow students to check out hotspots from the school, providing them with access to basic education and career training from BB2C, paving the way for success after graduation.

Funds raised through this Cause Connector project will provide 10 hotspots that students may check out from their schools. The hotspots will provide internet access to students in their own homes. This will enhance student access to education, as well as access to virtual programs through Building Bridges to Careers.

Your gift on Cause Connector will help make our project possible today, while also growing FAO’s I’m a Child of Appalachia Fund to help organizations like ours in the future. We’re working together with the Foundation to make our project happen today and grow the dollars that can support this work in our communities in the future. What’s more, your gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar!
