March is often a time when people are looking for things to do. The weather is warming up just enough to make us restless, but the mix of rain, snow, sun, and storms often leave us with limited options to expend our energy. What to do, what to do?

Well, the Makerspace is here with a challenge- their 2x4 Challenge! Have you ever wondered what all you could do with a 2x4 of wood? Now’s the time to find out! Get creative. Think outside the box. No tools? No experience? No ideas? No problem! The Makerspace Woodshop, along with the staff and content experts, are here to help. Bring your 2x4 down during open hours and you will find all the tools, all the assistance, and all the ideas you need!

Designs will be shared on BB2C’s Facebook Page and the community will be invited to “vote” on their favorites through likes. On April 12, the Judge’s Choice and People’s Choice winners will be announced. Each award-winner will receive a one-year membership to the Makerspace, a $50 gift card to Busy Bee, and a $50 gift card to the Habitat for Humanity Restore. Questions?
