Welcome Victoria to BB2C!

Victoria Freeman Powell is well known both at BB2C and in our community. She has an associate's degree in business management from University of Rio Grande and has worked for non-profit organizations since 2017, including most recently the Marietta Area Chamber of Commerce. She says that her professional purpose is being of service, giving back, and “leaving it better than she found it". 

She has also worked in the BB2C Makerspace as our creative arts content expert since early 2022, which she will continue to do in addition to her new position. When asked to say something unique about herself, she shared, "I am a collector of hobbies, but if it's a creative art, chances are I’ve tried it or want to try it."

Her past experiences with businesses, community members, office management, and creativity are all appreciated as she steps into our new Administration and Placement Assistant role. She will be helping place high school students in Washington County into job shadowing and internships. She will be supporting our Director of Logistics and Epicenter. And she will assist with BB2C programs and events throughout the year. 

She said that while she was initially drawn to BB2C through our Makerspace, she "wholeheartedly supports teaching high schools that there are career options other than college and starting their lives off in debt."
