Makerspace Recurring Membership

(Charges Monthly)

Makers 16 and older can gain access to the equipment at BB2C Makerspace has to offer.

After signing up for a recurring membership, members will receive a link to a calendar of FREE equipment tutorials for which they can register. Alternatively, members can schedule tutorials by contacting Makerspace directly. If members can demonstrate their competancy on any piece of equipment to Makerspace staff, they will be permitted to use it without any tutorial.

Please read membership policy summary before subscribing:

Members in good standing, participants of Makerspace classes and programs that are being run by BB2C are the only people allowed to use the Makerspace. A member in good standing has completed all required paperwork and has their membership fees paid to date.

  • Everyday that you visit the Makerspace you must press our sign-in counter. This also helps us to continue to secure supplemental funding so your membership fees can fully support improvements for the Makerspace. Please help us to help you!

  • Equipment & Workspace Clean-up - The Makerspace is a community space. This means it is up to everyone to keep the work areas and equipment clean. Keeping dust down is beneficial to everyone and our equipment. The Makerspace provides brooms, dustpans, shop rags, and cleaner, but you need to put in the time to use them and clean up during and after you are done working. If you are not sure of the proper cleaning procedure for any piece of equipment, please ask the Makerspace staff and they will be happy to assist.

  • No food or drink near Makerspace equipment. The community space is currently the only place where food is permitted in the Makerspace.

  • No drugs or alcohol are allowed in the Makerspace! People under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be permitted to use machinery or equipment. Violation of this policy will result in a mandatory membership suspension. Alcohol is only permitted at private events specifically marketed to participants 21+.

  • No weapons of any kind are permitted in or to be made in the Makerspace. If you want to make hilts, handles, or other items associated with weapons this is acceptable; however, at no time should a functional weapon be in the Makerspace. Violation of this policy will result in a mandatory membership suspension without refund.

  • Guest Policy - We encourage you to bring guests to the Makerspace! They are permitted as long as they have signed-in and completed an emergency contact and liability release form. They are however, not permitted to operate any equipment. If your guest would like to help with your project or do their own they will need to purchase a membership or punch card.

  • Pet Policy - While we love our furry little friends, Pets are not permitted in the Makerspace. This is for their safety as well as the safety of our members.

  • All materials in the Makerspace are owned by the Makerspace unless marked and secured. Please clearly mark any materials and tools that you bring with your name and phone number so they are not used by someone else.

  • Most consumables at the Makerspace can be purchased from the Makerspace at the posted prices. If there is not a price posted for an item please ask a Makerspace Staff Member. Materials fees must be collected so that we can restock our supplies for future classes and fellow Makerspace members.

  • At no time are these items to be brought or used in the Makerspace: moldy, pressure treated, lead or unknown painted wood, NO PVC or cardboard in the laser cutters

  • Memberships may be cancelled at any time due to rule violations at the discretion of Makerspace staff
