A New Face to Welcome You to the Epicenter

  1. Hi Katrina. Can you tell us a little about yourself, your background, and your family? 

My father was in the Air Force when I was younger and my family lived all over the world.  I have also lived in many states such as Florida, Georgia, Texas, Ohio, West Virginia, Alaska, Chicago, Washington DC, Virginia, Tennessee during my career.  I have two beautiful grandchildren who live in Georgia that keep me on me very busy.  I am married to Scott Kratche who is the Principal for Putnam Elementary School.  We have a beautiful farm in Lewisville, Ohio where we raise cattle and have four horses and one on the way.  We also have two beagles that love to hunt.

  1. Any fun hobbies or talents we should know about? 

My hobbies in include hiking, skiing, horseback riding, and refurbishing antique furniture.

  1. What drew you to Building Bridges to Careers and their mission of preparing today's students for tomorrow's workforce? 

I have always assisted in school events with my husband.  Through the years I always wanted a career where I was actively involved with an organization that would help prepare students for their future.  

  1. What will you be doing in your role of the Building Bridges to Careers Administrative Assistant? 

I will provide support and assistance to both BB2C and the Appalachian Ohio Manufacturers Coalition (AOMC).  This includes overseeing general office operations, supporting staff with project implementation details, submitting quarterly and  annual reports for grants, assisting with tax preparation, and ensuring all financial records are complete and accurate. 

  1. What are you most looking forward to now that you've joined the Building Bridges to Careers staff? 

I am most looking forward to working and collaborating with people within both organizations to drive measurable performance gains and continuous improvements.
