Meet Amber, a Marietta College Summer Intern

My name is Amber Gardner. I am a student at Marietta College majoring in Graphic Design and minoring in Studio Art.  I would like to design landscapes because I like plants and art. I also would like to create illustrations of animals.

For my internship, I developed posters for each of the spaces in the Makerspace to bring in color and show what each space is. The spaces are woodshop, fiber arts, technology, stained glass, creative arts, laser printing, and photography/videography.

While interning at BB2C, I have learned to create art using the design styles such as abstract, flat, geometric, illustrated, and photorealism. I was also included in the group discussion about re-branding.

“It’s been great having Amber as an intern. Her graphic design talents have been a huge help in improving BB2C Makerspace’s branding and signage.” Jared Wittekind, Makerspace Coordinator
