The Career Fair is Almost Here!

In year’s past, BB2C has been a part of the Career Connect Job Fair. This year's job fair looks a little different. It's the OH*Zone Career Fair and it is a virtual event where career seekers will interact with partners through an online platform. The Fair is happening this Wednesday, February 10 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Co-sponsors for this event include Marietta College, Washington State Community College, BB2C, Ohio Means Jobs, the Washington County Career Center, Ohio Southeast, and HireBoom.

“The virtual career fair will help to connect prospective employees and local companies to meet local workforce needs”, said Kara Willis from Ohio Southeast.

It’s not to late to prepare for the fair by becoming more comfortable with the virtual platform and learning what to expect and how to prepare. BB2C is offering the last of our Prepare for the Fair workshops tomorrow, February 9 from 12 – 1:30 p.m.You can register for this pre-event workshop here. As part of the workshop, Program and Event Facilitator Tonya Davis will register you to attend the OH*Zone Career Fair on February 10. This year’s Career Fair will focus on jobs available in healthcare, manufacturing, and financial.
