The connection this opportunity made between business owners and teachers gave insight to both groups.

Of the 26 students who completed our survey, 21 would like to have a mentor again next year.

I believe we are providing our global readership with a glimpse of the passion, energy, and hope being brought to bear in Appalachian Ohio.

The program connects the students to the community and hopefully assists in creating active citizens of our future! 

An internship can look like whatever it needs to look like.

Passing on some experience to other people has always been satisfying.

I would encourage anyone who loves their work to stop by and ask how to engage with these young adults.

It started with Legos and Erector sets as a child.

I think this is a beneficial day for any student who may not think there are options for them in the workforce.

We would like to thank Marietta, Warren, Caldwell, and Shenandoah High Schools for their partnership in promoting the careers within healthcare through this program.

The ability to have quick access to 3D printers at the Makerspace allowed us to prove that our concept would work.

It was nice to get my feet wet and try it out.

It is something that I've always wanted to build my own. Eventually, I'd like to start a side business selling furniture that I build.
